THIRD VISION LTD. — LUMION / ENSCAPE 360 VR CAPTURE STANDARD Version 6.9 GOAL Create panorama nodes that feel like a real standing client rather than a camera floating above the room. 1. CAMERA HEIGHT - Recommended standing eye-level capture: 1.60 m above finished floor level. - Acceptable typical range for standing tours: 1.55–1.65 m. - Keep the SAME height for every connected node unless the floor level actually changes. - Do not raise the camera simply to show more furniture; this makes VR feel miniature / aerial. IMPORTANT A 360 panorama cannot be truthfully re-heighted after it has been rendered. Website code can correct starting yaw, horizon/pitch and orientation, but it cannot recreate parallax from a different physical camera height. Set the camera height correctly inside Lumion / Enscape before export. 2. FORMAT - Equirectangular 2:1 panorama. - Recommended: 8192 × 4096 for premium VR, or 4096 × 2048 for lighter delivery. - JPG/WebP export with high quality. - Keep horizon level. Avoid camera roll. 3. NODE SPACING - Typical interior node spacing: about 1.5–3.0 m where visually appropriate. - Put nodes at natural standing positions, not on top of furniture or counters. - Create nodes near doorways / transitions so movement feels logical. 4. SCENE CONSISTENCY Keep identical: - Geometry - Materials - Lighting time / exposure - Furniture state - Doors / cabinet states unless intentionally demonstrating a change 5. STARTING DIRECTION For each panorama note the intended front direction. Third Vision v6.9 supports per-node start yaw / XR yaw calibration. 6. FLOOR PLAN MAPPING For each node provide: - Node name (e.g. Entry, Kitchen Work Zone, Dining Transition) - Approximate point on the floor plan - Which nodes it connects to - Preferred forward direction 7. VR COMFORT Use real camera positions. The website will use comfort teleport between static panorama nodes. Do not imply continuous free-walk geometry unless a true 3D WebXR scene is supplied.
